Forms Required - Nulirt batch list or NPHL Test Request Form (completed in entirety) must accompany the specimen to include the following information: symptoms and date of onset, pregnancy status, travel and vaccine history. Testing
will not be performed without all required information.

Collection of three specimens over a 10 day period is optimal. Indicate suspected parasites and patient history if applicable. Specimens analyzed to determine efficacy of treatment should be collected 3 - 4 weeks after treatment. Preservative available from Regional Pathology Services.
This test is for patients who have had foreign travel or continued symptoms. If pinworm is suspected, pinworm collection kits are available from Regional Pathology Services and should be submitted instead of stool. |
